More About This Item
This dual-unit visible light meter measures from 0 to 50,000 lux or 0 to 5000 foot-candles. The photovoltaic cell and microprocessor provide an impressive 0.4 second sampling rate and automatic-zero adjustment. Color-correction filter and precise photodiode produce accurate cosine- and color-corrected measurements over the wide range.
Connect the analog output to a recorder to capture readings, 0.1 millivolt per digit (200 mV max), or display current values on the large 1/2″H digital display. DATA HOLD allows you to freeze current measurements at the flip of a switch.
Traceable® Products come with an individually numbered Traceable® Certificate provided with each unit, assuring accuracy from our ISO/IEC 17025:2017 (1750.01) calibration laboratory, accredited by A2LA. The certificate indicates traceability of measurements to the SI units through NIST or other recognized national measurement institutes (NMIs) that are signatories to the CIPM Mutual Recognition Agreement. Every Traceable® product undergoes an intense vetting process before it can carry the Traceable name, saving you both time and money by eliminating the need for separate calibration.
Guaranteed to have at least one year of calibration remaining on certificate.
This light meter is calibrated using a tungsten light source. If measuring another type of light source, the reading displayed on the meter will have to be manually corrected using the following factors:
Mercury – (reading x 1.05)
Fluorescent – (reading x 0.91)
Daylight – (reading x 0.95)
