Since infrared (IR) meters do not contact the objects being measured, they are the safest way to measure hot, hard-to-reach, or moving parts while eliminating potential damage and contamination. IR thermometers are easy to use: just pull the trigger and the temperature will show in an instant on a large, backlit display.

All models feature Min/Max and Hold functions, °F/°C selectable units, single targeting laser, large backlight LCD, and auto power-off. Models 20250-05 and -06 also offer adjustable emissivity and user-adjustable temperature alarm with indicator light.

Traceable® Products come with an individually numbered Traceable® Certificate provided with each unit, assuring accuracy from our ISO/IEC 17025:2017 (1750.01) calibration laboratory, accredited by A2LA. The certificate indicates traceability of measurements to the SI units through NIST or other recognized national measurement institutes (NMIs) that are signatories to the CIPM Mutual Recognition Agreement. Every Traceable® product undergoes an intense vetting process before it can carry the Traceable name, saving you both time and money by eliminating the need for separate calibration.
